Mercanti Wines & Spirits brings unique, delicious wine from all over the world right to your door. We care about the product and the process, as good wine starts with good grapes. WPW works with organic farmers and small producers to ensure the best, natural product ends up in your glass. High quality does not mean high prices- we think good wine comes at all price points. We recommend small batch wines and spirits that are less manipulated than most of the mass-produced brands.

Before its acquisition by Mercanti the store was managed Long Island native, Ryan Burkett. Who previously worked as a sommelier at some of New York City’s top restaurants, including Estela, Legacy Records, Momofuku Kāwi and Craft.

Ryan hosts tasting classes every Friday night, where you can learn about different wine regions and some of the science behind wine making and farming. He just added whiskey classes, too! You can even organize a private class/ celebration with friends and family at the shop in the beautiful new tasting room.

MWS keeps bottles open every weekend, encouraging you to try new wines from our New York backyard and the opposite side of the globe. We have the most carefully curated variety of wine you will find anywhere on the island. So come check out the shop and new tasting room!
